OPENING
PRAYER
God,
our shepherd, our guide, our companion,
we
gather again to celebrate Easter Joy, to share Easter Hope, to
proclaim Easter Life.
God
who leads us to green pastures and still waters,
in
this time of worship may we be fed and refreshed.
God
who promises us life, and that in abundance,
fill
us to overflowing so that Your love, light, and life spill over on
all we meet.
And
when we go out from this place,
may
we always trust in the Easter Promise, may we be ready to follow the
Shepherd.
Amen.
COMMISSIONING:
As
children of God,
we
go out into the world where we live and serve.
As
an Easter people,
we
go out to share the promise and hope of New Life in abundance
As
those who trust the Good Shepherd,
we
go out assured that the rod and the staff will comfort us.
Surely
goodness and mercy will follow us all the days of our lives...
and
we dwell in God's presence forever.
